Repeat prescriptions are medications which appear on your prescription slip which the doctor would like you to continue on a regular basis. Your list can also be found on your online account.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
If ordering acute medication, see FAQ Prescriptions online ordering.
If you, or someone you care for, use the same medicines regularly, you may not need to get a new prescription every time you need more medicine. Ask your clinician about repeat prescribing.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a clinician at least once a year to review these regular medications. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Prescriptions will not be accepted over the telephone. This is in the interest of your safety.
